Mango is a well known and much loved tropical fruit. We make our Mango Jam with Harumanis mangos, that are big, golden and ripe for picking and eating each October and November. Harumanis means “fragrant and sweet” and indeed, the fragrance of this fruit is almost perfumed, with a hint of acidity, its texture smooth and rich, like butter.
Mango Jam is a fabulous breakfast jam and a luscious accompaniment to hot, buttery toast, or on a flaky croissant or rich brioche. Stir it into creamy Greek yoghurt or dribble onto Fior di Latte gelato for a divine treat.
